Most of our desi ghee have a shelf life of 6 to 9 months when stored properly. We recommend checking the best-before date printed on the packaging of each specific product.

How should I store the ghee?

Desi Ghee can be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight.

What is desi ghee and how is it different from regular butter?

Desi ghee is pure butterfat clarified through a slow heating and separation process, traditionally used in Indian cooking for centuries. Unlike regular butter, ghee has a higher smoke point, longer shelf life, is lactose-free, and offers superior nutrient absorption and digestive benefits.
